Royalty checks are typically mailed as close to the end of the month as possible.  You can expect your initial royalty check within 120 days after the end of the month of the first sale.  Monthly checks will be mailed within 60 days after the calendar month in which oil and gas production is sold.

 

Payments must be at least $25 before a check will be mailed.  If a payment does not reach $25 within a 12 month period, that accrued amount will be paid annually, on December 31 of each year.

 

If you believe your check has been lost or stolen, please email us or call 512-306-1717.  For your security, we will need your account number, the month of the check you did not receive, and the last four (4) digits of your social security number.

 

You will receive a 1099-MISC form from Texas Royalty each year to report annual production payments and rental payments to the IRS. We will mail your 1099-MISC to you by January 31.
